Research

The "Green Mobility Research Lab" was established with a Framework Collaboration Agreement lasting 4 + 4 years between the University of Bologna and FEV Italy in February 2019, for the execution of the following research and educational activities:

  1. Development of innovative propulsion systems, and related control strategies, based on thermal, hybrid and electric powertrains;
  2. Design, development, calibration, simulation, benchmarking and testing of vehicles, components, propulsion systems, control systems and communication protocols for the automotive sector;
  3. Testing of components and propulsion systems, in laboratory environment and in prototype vehicles;
  4. Training of calibration engineers for hybrid and electric propulsion systems, and of ADAS and e-Horizon functions experts;
  5. Organization and participation to specific projects and conferences on smart mobility and smart cities.
