The Italian Research Group on Origen and the Alexandrian Tradition
The Italian Research Group on Origen and the Alexandrian Tradition (GIROTA) aims to promote the scientific study and knowledge of Alexandrian Christianity against the background of Jewish, Hellenistic and Egyptian traditions and its fortune in history. The GIROTA encourages collaboration between scholars on the subject, both by organising scientific meetings, seminars and conferences of high cultural diffusion, and by publishing the journal Adamantius.
