The EUFutures Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the University of Bologna has published the second issue of its newsletter, recapping the key milestones of its initial phase of activity.

Over the past months, the Centre has advanced the academic and policy debate on European economic transformation through the inauguration of its public lecture series "EU Growth Under Stress", featuring guest lectures by Grace Ballor and Donato Di Carlo. EUFutures also engaged UNIBO Master’s students in hands-on Policy Development Labs focused on the EU's green and digital transitions, launched a dedicated website section for student research, and saw its members actively contribute to major international conferences (such as SASE 2026), prestigious academic publications, and key appointments, including Sonia Lucarelli’s designation as Vice President of Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI).

Looking ahead to the upcoming academic term, EUFutures is preparing to launch two specialized teaching modules at the University of Bologna, and a new 2026–2027 public lecture program to be announced following the summer break.
