WP3 objectives include: Conducting a comparative analysis of policy strategies in other major economies in different geographical areas (Africa, Asia, Central and Easter Europe, Latin America and North America) including both the Global North and Global South, to assess how they promote sustainable growth and manage economic uncertainty; Examine how institutional capacity, public attitudes, and economic structures shape the effectiveness of different policy strategies; Identify the key drivers of success and failure in economic policymaking across different national contexts, with implications for the EU; Develop actionable insights and recommendations for EU policymakers, ensuring their applicability within the EU’s political, economic, and institutional framework.
WP3 activities include: Mapping Policy Strategies (6 comparative case study countries); Organizing a public lecture series with experts on “Global Perspectives on Economic Challenges”; Synthetizing Lessons in a Comparative Policy Report (best practices); Drafting a research paper on a comparative analysis of the EU growth model.
