“Explain It Like I’m AI” is a podcast by the Collegio Superiore of the University of Bologna, conceived, written, and recorded by the PhD students of the International PhD College.
“Explain it Like I’m AI" is a nod to the internet classic "Explain it like I'm 5" — and that's precisely our goal with Artificial Intelligence. AI is irreversibly reshaping our world, and this poses immense societal challenge. Public debate swings between blind optimism and outright alarmism. Our podcast cuts through both extremes — warning enthusiasts about real risks while reassuring the overly fearful. Through conversations with professors and researchers from the University of Bologna and beyond, we provide a space for discussing the latest developments in AI in an accessible way for non-expert audiences. Clearly, critically, honestly making sense of AI: without panic, beyond hype.
