Amrei is a pre-doctoral Research Fellow working on the BELIEFS project. She studied Economics at the University of Freiburg (B.Sc.) and LMU Munich (M.Sc.). Her research interests lie in environmental and climate economics, with a particular focus on how societies adapt to the consequences of climate change. Her master’s thesis at the ifo Institute in Munich explored climate-induced migration in Mexico, analyzing how weather fluctuations influence internal mobility patterns.
