Anatomie Accademiche I: I Commentari dell’Accademia delle Scienze di Bologna

edited by Walter Tega, Bologna, Il Mulino, 1986

This volume is the first of a series of three publications dedicated to the eighteenth-century materials of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna. This first volume includes the complete collection, in the form of a file, of the seven volumes of the De Bononiensis Scientiarum et Artium Instituto atque Academia Commentarii, the academic reports that were published in Bologna between 1731 and 1791. Following the order of publication of the volumes and the partition given them by the Secretary Francesco Maria Zanotti, the summaries of the “Commentarii” and of the “Opuscola” are presented, so as to offer a comprehensive view of the scientific activity of the Academy and of the contacts it established with the major Italian and European scientific institutions in the 18th century.
