Anatomie Accademiche II: L’enciclopedia scientifica dell’Accademia delle Scienze di Bologna

edited by Walter Tega, Bologna, Il Mulino, 1987

This volume is the second of a series of three publications dedicated to the eighteenth-century materials of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna. The essays of which it is composed reconstruct the experimental activities and the main topics of the researches that were carried out in the laboratories of the Institute of Sciences during the eighteenth century, which covered the fields of natural history, medicine, chemistry, physics, mechanics, mathematics, music, geography and astronomy, and meteorology. The volume is completed by an extensive annotated bibliography dedicated to activities of the Institute and of the Academy from its origin to the second half of the 20th century.
