Meet Chiara Benassi | EUFutures

Chiara Benassi, Associate Professor of Economic Sociology at the University of Bologna and member of the EUFutures Steering Committee, introduces her research focus within the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence.

In her presentation, Prof. Benassi outlines her work on how artificial intelligence is transforming workplace skills and job quality, and how collective bargaining institutions and labor market regulations can deliver better outcomes for workers.

Within the EU Futures project, she brings this workplace perspective to the study of European growth models. Her work across the project's Work Packages focuses on integrating sustainable human resource and industrial relations practices to help shape a more inclusive, fair, and sustainable economic trajectory for Europe.
