Our series on the next generation of researchers collaborating with EUFutures continues. Today, we spotlight Michela Antonucci, Master’s student in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs at the University of Bologna.
Her Master’s thesis with EUFutures examines the recent resurgence of industrial policy in the European Union. By comparing two landmark legislative frameworks—the Net-Zero Industry Act and the European Chips Act—her research analyzes how the EU is concretely shaping its strategic agenda across critical domains. Through this project, Michela contributes to current debates on the transformation of European economic governance and the Union's evolving role in the global political economy.
