WP4 develops forward-looking, sustainable, and inclusive growth strategies for the European Union by engaging stakeholders in knowledge co-production and scenario-building.
WP4 objectives include; Developing alternative sustainable growth scenarios that integrate academic expertise with stakeholder perspectives, considering political, social, and economic priorities; Identifying policy pathways leading to different growth scenarios, using insights from historical and comparative analyses conducted in WP2 and WP3; Facilitating knowledge co-production through interactive workshops with diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration between academics, students, policymakers, and social actors; Creating a policy toolkit synthesizing policy recommendations, trade-offs, and implementation challenges, tailored to EU policymakers; Establishing a sustainable knowledge-exchange network between academia, policymakers, and civil society to support long-term engagement on EU economic policy.
WP activities include: Designing Knowledge Co-production Workshops based on key insights from WP2; Organizing Workshops and Engaging Stakeholders to capture strakeholders insights; Conducting Knowledge Co-production Workshops (3-days) on Green Growth, Equity and Social Cohesion, and Global Competitiveness; Facilitating discussions on desirability, feasibility, and trade-offs of different policy options; Developing a Policy Toolkit on Future EU Growth Strategies; Building a Long-Term Stakeholder Network.
