CLIMAVORE x Jameel at RCA Project - Building Regenerative Food Networks in the Climate Emergency.

Collaboration with the CLIMAVORE x Jameel at RCA project launched in September 2024.

Within the Working Group Rights of Seeds, the role of small-scale agriculture in promoting the right to healthy, sufficient, and culturally appropriate food is explored. This collaboration addresses the challenges posed by climate change and supports sustainable agricultural practices.

Federation for the Recognition of the Rights of Lake Garda.

Collaboration with the Federation launched in January 2025.

The Federation works for the recognition of Lake Garda as a subject of law and organizes meetings and conferences to draft the Declaration of Rights and turn it into a bill. LUMEN will provide support for the participatory process of discussion and dissemination of the Lake Garda Declaration of Rights.

Universidade Federal do Grande Dourados (UFGD)

Collaboration launched in September 2025.

Since 2025, the LUMEN project has begun a close collaboration with several researchers from the Universidade Federal do Grande Dourados, building on the first important contact with Prof. Vito Comar.

During a visiting research period at this university, Prof. Silvia Bagni, coordinator of the LUMEN project, had the opportunity to collaborate with various other researchers engaged in projects on environmental issues within local indigenous communities.

Centro de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Cerrado Pantanal – Sustainable Development and Agroforestry in Indigenous Communities

The center, composed of professors, technicians, and students from UFGD, UFMS, and UEMS, promotes sustainable development and agroforestry initiatives in the indigenous communities in the municipality of Dourados.

Ara Poty Research and Third Mission Project

Collaboration launched in September 2025.

The project, coordinated by Prof. Lethicia Camila Dorce, involves activities in two schools located in the indigenous villages of the municipality of Dourados, teaching children environmental education through horticulture and compost production.
