The II International Congress on Comparative and Constitutional Law, “Cuba CON-PARA 2026”, opens its call for contributions. Designed as a unique space for dialogue and exchange from a comparative perspective, the congress addresses the most current concerns in constitutional law. It will take place in Havana, Cuba, from February 3 to 6, 2026, and is structured around seven main thematic sessions: key elements for updating state form classifications; cryptotypes and non-traditional components in legal phenomena; rethinking the welfare state in light of economic and social rights setbacks; beyond legal personality: human, non-human, transhuman, and posthuman; the legacy of Roman private law and European codes in Latin American legal systems; lawmakers and judges in the construction of a just society; and a special session celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Cuban Constitution.
In addition to keynote lectures, participants can submit extended abstracts for in-person presentations, which must be registered via the congress website (www.cubaconpara.com) by November 30, 2025. Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be communicated by December 15, 2025. Contributions will be presented in person only, though congress sessions will be streamed online for remote attendees. A maximum of 115 presentations will be scheduled across the three days of work.
