Cultural Heritage

A comprehensive and holistic understanding of cultural heritage as an interdisciplinary field of research, cultural heritage contributes to understanding identities and promoting cohesion in communities disrupted by change and economic instability. Una Europa’s approach to cultural heritage encompasses all the artefacts and objects to which a society attaches value at a given moment in its history, in the context of projects that are important for the present and future of that society important to the present and future of that society. The term 'cultural' thus refers to the value that society places on these elements, whether tangible or intangible, created by man or nature. This includes digital cultural heritage, which plays a crucial role in ensuring the preservation, accessibility and dissemination of a wide range of content and dissemination of a wide range of cultural and historical materials, artefacts, documents, works of art and more. The partners of Una Europa have contributed to the historical development of the cities in which they are located and play an important role in the preservation of an important historical and artistic heritage.
