Extracting physical information from the RG in quantum gravity

For the past few decades, the Asymptotic Safety approach to quantum gravity has faced the challenge of applying RG flows to gravity: evidence for the existence of a non-trivial UV fixed point has been extensively provided. In this talk, I will discuss recent progress in addressing the challenge of extracting physical (observable) information from the RG flow. Specifically, I will show how methods from perturbation theory can be adapted to extract on-shell information and how observables can be defined in a relational manner.
