Type IIB flux vacua landscape: Enumeration and Data analysis
Date: 09 APRIL 2025 from 15:00 to 16:00
Event location: Sala IR-2A
The study of Type IIB flux vacua provides crucial insights into the vast landscape of string theory solutions, with direct implications for moduli stabilization, supersymmetry breaking, and the structure of the effective four-dimensional theory. In this talk, I will discuss methods for systematically enumerating flux vacua and explore the underlying mathematical structures that govern their distribution. Emphasizing techniques from data analysis, particularly PCA and topological data analysis, I will highlight new approaches to characterizing the landscape, including persistent homology as a tool for detecting hidden patterns in moduli space. These results offer a deeper understanding of the vacuum selection problem and potential constraints on phenomenologically viable solutions.
