WS2: Research data management and policies in Research Performing Organizations and Research Infrastructures (16/2/24 - 6/3/24)

The programme will provide you the skills needed to manage the data from a research project, taking into account also the need to define and to implement the data policies of an institution.

WS2 REQUIREMENTS

Admission qualifications

Open to PhD students, young researchers and technicians with at least a master degree: no specific competence related to data or computer skills is required for course admission. 
This experience is designed for students from a wide range of disciplines and serves as an introduction to the field.
Candidates will be selected based on their background and motivation. The ideal candidate will have interest in data management at European level, as well as a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with other people from around the world.

LINGUISTIC SKILLS

The Winter School will be taught entirely in English.

Other requirements

The selection will close on February 1, 2024, and the results will be communicated by mid-February 2024.
A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the Winter School, the minimum attendance requirement is 80% of lessons.
In return for participation in the Winter School, students may apply to their relevant Course of Study for the recognition of extra-curricular ECTS (type D, free choice) in subjects related to the themes of the pathway.
