The Bright Side of Vertical Farming: 1st Research Experience at AlmaVFarm
On the 17th December, in the framework of the LUH2021 (VIII International Conference on Landscape and Urban Horticulture), will be held the workshop “The bright side of Vertical Farming” in which students of the University of Bologna will present the results of their experimental work in AlmaVFarm.
Students who joined this participatory activity were asked to design a light spectrum for growing lettuce in aeroponic or hydroponic systems and to evaluate the effects of light treatments on the crop, taking into account the final yield and morphological parameters.
The results of the work will be presented to the congress audience and to a jury who will decide the best work.
