Since 2013, the Research Center on Urban Environment for Agriculture and Biodiversity (ResCUE – AB) has been engaged in numerous activities ranging from research to teaching, drawing on the diverse experiences of its members.
Founded within the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Bologna, ResCUE-AB has evolved and adapted, expanding its expertise into various fields.
Today, our team is involved in several international cooperation projects, covering a wide range of topics from horticulture to entomology, including urban agriculture, vertical farming, and therapeutic horticulture.

The latest updates on the works in progress for the realization of ALMAVFarm, the FoodE pilot project developed by Flytech srl in collaboration with the University of Bologna. This experimental vertical farm will not only be dedicated to the production of food but it will also represent a place where to develop and promote student'skills to increase innovation in the field of indoor farming.
