The RU-PAVIA main role is to lead the XRD structural characterization of Na-HEOs, from laboratory (ex-situ and operando tests, using a new dedicated instrument equipped with a Mo lamp) to synchrotron radiation. This includes the writing of beam time proposals, running of experiments and data analysis. The activity of the RU-UNIPV also concern the cathode fabrication and testing of cathodes (1G and 2G material) in sodium half cells by CV, GCPL and EIS, as well as the chemometrics study of operando XAS data, led by Paolo Conti (University of Camerino).
