Teaching info

Structure of activities

The course consists of 56 hours of teaching, with mandatory attendance of 80%. The award of 7 ECTS credits is planned.

Structure of the courses:

- Diseases of the broodmare during pregnancy and postpartum - 16 hours - 2 ECTS

- Diseases of the newborn - 16 hours - 2 ECTS

- Internal medicine of the pregnant broodmare and the newborn - 16 hours - 2 ECTS

- Practical activity in a perinatology unit - 8 hours - 1 ECTS

The student, at their discretion and subject to agreements with the instructors, may participate in the clinical activities of the DIMEVET Perinatology and Reproduction Unit.

Classes are scheduled to start on January 17, 2026, and conclude by June 2026.

For theoretical lessons, remote learning mode will be activated.

In the presence of foreign students, activities will be conducted in English.
