On 1 July 2025, the University of Trieste hosted the lecture “The Circulation of the Rights of Nature: From Latin America to Europe,” delivered by Professor Serena Baldin, Full Professor of Comparative Public Law and UniTs coordinator for the PRIN PNRR 2022 project LUMEN.
The lecture was part of the Summer Training Modules organized by the University and was attended by 57 high school students. As part of the LUMEN project's dissemination activities, the session offered an opportunity for education and dialogue on one of the project's core research themes: the legal recognition of the rights of nature in a comparative perspective.
The series will continue on Thursday, 4 July, with a lecture by Dr. Silvia Zanini, researcher in the UniTs unit of the LUMEN project.
