Professor María Mercedes Ortiz García Visiting Bologna for LUMEN and Student Meetings
From May 29 to June 30, 2025, Prof. Ortiz García will be a visiting scholar at the University of Bologna and will offer online meetings with students on commons, participation, and climate.

The Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna will host Professor María Mercedes Ortiz García, Professor of Administrative Law and Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Law at the University of Alicante, for a visiting research period in collaboration with the LUMEN project.
During her stay, Professor Ortiz will be available by appointment for online sessions with students to explore key topics such as commons, participatory governance processes, and climate assemblies. The meetings will take place Monday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
