Marina Timoteo received the "2018 Confucius Institute Individual Performance Excellence Award" from the Deputy Minister of Chinese Education, Tian Xuejun, which rewards the organizational excellence and activism of international directors, Chinese directors and the Responsible for teaching the Confucius Institutes of All the world.
The Confucius Institute of the University of Bologna, established with Renmin University, which in 2019 will celebrate the Tenth anniversary of its foundation, has now consolidated a fundamental role of bridge between the University, local authorities and the cultural institutions of the city of Bologna and China.
The recognition received by the Director represents an additional force for the realization of cultural activities projects dedicated to the mainland China and exchange programs, with scholarship opportunities, for university and high school students.
