The Summer School will be held from 5 to 10 June 2023 in Bologna and will aim to provide final year students of bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctoral students in the humanities with the necessary skills to do research in the study of Italian literature in an international perspective and to work in the field of teaching Italian language and literature abroad and/or to foreign students on international courses in Italy, addressing issues relating to the reception of contemporary Italian literature abroad; the comparison between the internal and external canon; the different ways of teaching Italian literature in different linguistic and cultural contexts; the translation of modern and contemporary literary texts; the dynamics of the publishing system that promotes Italian literature abroad.
Admission to the Summer School is subject to passing a selection on the basis of qualifications, including knowledge of the Italian language at a B2 level (attested by exams of Italian language or by certificates of linguistic competence).
