The project investigates the use of virtual reality technologies in psychological interventions and, more specifically, the effects of a transdiagnostic virtual reality-based intervention (How to Observe and Measure Emotions – H.O.M.E.) for the prevention of eating disorders.
Through the use of virtual reality technologies, this research aims to reduce dysfunctional eating behaviors together with other negative psychological factors (i.e. emotion dysregulation, psychological inflexibility and experiential avoidance), in participants at risk for the development of these psychopathologies.
