This PhD Seasonal School "Motives and Methods: Comparative Approaches and Ethics in Scientific Progress" aims to address cross-cutting themes relevant to the research and experiences of PhD students, with a particular focus on methodology—especially comparative methods—and ethical issues.
The Seasonal School is open to 40 PhD students enrolled in doctoral programs in both technical-scientific and humanities-social science fields at Italian universities.
The program combines lectures, thematic workshops, and moments of discussion, in order to fostering critical awareness and an ethical perspective on contemporary research, within an interdisciplinary framework.
Participants will also have the opportunity to present and discuss their own research projects.
