The Microchemistry and Microscopy Art Diagnostic Laboratory (M2ADL) deals with the study of the chemical-physical characteristics of samples of historical, artistic and archaeological interest.

The research and publications are providing knowledge for the attribution studies, production techniques and materials and the state of conservation of the object or monument, as well as the identification of new restoration procedures within campaigns at national and international level.
