Faculty Exchange

In quality of coordinator of the UNIBO-UCSD Cooperation Project, Emidio Capriotti (EC) visited for 2 weeks (10-24 July) the Division of Medical Genetics at the University of California at San Diego. During this period Emidio Capriotti had meetings with Hannah Carter, Pablo Tamayo and Trey Ideker to discuss about the current and  future initiatives for the Cooperation Project.

More in details EC participated to the group meeting of Hannah Carter group to verify the opportunity of future common research projects and verify the status of the research of Davide Baldazzi  who is currently visiting Carter's group. With Pablo Tamayo, EC discussed the research project of Niccolo' Bruciaferri hosted at the Moores Cancer Center.

From  27 to 31 of May Hannah Carter (HC), Assistant Professor at the University of California at San Diego visited the University of Bologna. The PDF of the lecture is available through the following link.

On May 28, HC gave a special lecture to the students of the international Master in Bioinformatics and on the next days she participated to the Workshop on Cancer Genomics.
