Yukie Osumi

Yukie Osumi, graduated from Tokyo University of Arts in 1969.

Received the Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese Government along with Mokichi Okada Award From MOA Museum of Art in 2010 and was designated as Living National Treasure by the Japanese Government in 2015.

She creates her own styles of metal work by integrating hammering, engraving and cloth inlay technique.

She is the first female National Treasure in the field of metalwork.
