Mokichi Okada's philosophy highlights the importance of art and beauty for the construction of healthy societies that promote the happiness of individuals and the peaceful and respectful coexistence of peoples.

Kohrinka -the ikebana method taught by Master Okada-  is an art in which the practitioner establishes a spiritual relationship with the flowers, interacting in a kind of dialogue, by virtue of which the soul becomes serene attaining a higher level of wisdom.

Mokichi Okada Chair on Beauty decides to close this year 2023, inviting all those who wish to do so, to virtually participate from all corners of the world in a korinka workshop led by Master Yamate. 

With this meeting with flowers, the Chair aspires to make its contribution so that, in these difficult times, health and understanding may finally prevail over restlessness and pain.

May 2024 be a time of reconciliation, peace and happiness, in harmony with Nature.
