What is an experiment

A group of people is recruited, and we present them a situation in which they must make a decision, for example in a particular market or auction structure. To participate it’s not required any previous economics knowledge.

Participants will be given real life incentives since a money payment will be given to each participant depending on the choices they will make in the experiments. Participants will be all volunteers and they will usually be asked to interact in a way with each other. Our goal is to collect empirical data on people’s behavior to evaluate the predictions of economic theories and build valid behavioral models.

Every experiment is conducted without deception, meaning that the situation is presented truthfully and the rules to gain money are actually being followed.

To participants is granted absolute anonymity on collected data, that are going to be used frequently in an aggregate setting and anyways always in anonymous form.
