We are hiring a new researcher in the BIT-ACT project! Deadline for Application is the 8th of January 2023

We are looking for a researcher who will work with us on the BIT-ACT project for 18 months at the University of Bologna's Social and Political Science Department.

The hired researcher will be included in a research team that relies on qualitative methods to investigate how social movement organizations create and employ various digital (and non-digital) media to counter corruption from the grassroots in nine countries worldwide and at the transnational level. For further information on who we are, what we do, and how, please browse around the various pages on this site.

We are looking for a researcher who: is fluent in written and spoken English; knows how to use MAXQDA or similar software; and has experience researching anti-corruption or social movements/civil society actors. Additional desirable skills and expertise are knowledge of the French language, both written and spoken, and understanding of literature and current debates on critical data studies or critical AI studies.
