A number of country experts are supporting BIT-ACT across the world. They come both from within and outside academia

Anni Kisand is the former Executive Director of Transparency International Estonia, where she previously worked as a project manager.

She has a MA in Public Administration from TalTech -Tallinn University of Technology.

Germán Bidegain is an assistant professor at the Department of Political Science at the Universidad de la República (Uruguay) and a member of the National System of Researchers of Uruguay.

He holds a PhD degree in Political Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile and an MA in History and Political Theory from Sciences Po Paris. His research interests include comparative politics, democracy, and contentious politics, with a focus on Latin America.

Clarissa dos Santos Veloso is an adjunct professor at the Department of Social Sciences at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (Brazil) and a member of the Metropolis Observatory Research Team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

She holds Ph.D. and MA degrees in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. Her research interests include urban studies, qualitative methods, contemporary social theory, and sociology of culture.

Preeti Raghunath is an Assistant Professor at SIMC Pune, India. She has a PhD in Communication, and Masters in International Relations and Politics, and Communication. She is the author of the book, 'Community Radio Policies in South Asia: A Deliberative Policy Ecology Approach' published by Palgrave Macmillan, Singapore, in 2020.

Her research interests lie in the politics, policies and practices of media and communication, through lenses of equitable access and sustainable futures, and theories of democracy.
