Our researcher gave an inspiring speech at the opening of a hackathon at Kaunas University of Technology

Fernanda Odilla presented at the 'Hack-IT community of practice: innovative pedagogies for responsible education' workshop in Kaunas, Lithuania. 

The event was the opening of a hackathon designed to reflect on the challenges of teaching and learning in the 21st century.

Odilla, along with five other speakers, shared inspiring experiences and stories before the hackathon, an event where people engage in rapid and collaborative design thinking. In her presentation titled "Developing Responsible Citizens: AI for Anti-Corruption", our researcher spoke about the main challenges faced by bottom-up anti-corruption initiatives that have developed anti-corruption technologies, based on BIT-ACT research findings. 

The event took place on November 21 2024.

Odilla also spoke to engineering students at Kaunas University of Technology about ethics in artificial intelligence during her academic visit to Kaunas.
