BIT-ACT Research Fellow Anwesha Chakraborty has been invited as a featured speaker in the winter school titled 'Digital Technology and Society' being held at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad from 5^th to 10^th November 2023.

Chakraborty presents her research on media repertoires of civil society organisations and their democratic potentials in enhancing citizen participation on governance issues

The talk “Democratising potentials and practices of anti-corruption, pro-transparency platforms” is scheduled on the 8^th of November and will be held in person at the university campus.
