BIT-ACT research fellow Anwesha Chakraborty has been invited to share her research on cashlessness and digital payments in India at an online event titled “Our Futures in a Cashless Society”.
Anwesha will be participating as a speaker alongside practitioners from the fintech, banking and financial sectors. She will be speaking on discursive practices and policymaking around the issue of cashless futures, especially with a focus on the framing of cashlessness as an anti-corruption and pro-transparency practice.
The event is organized by Gimitheapp, one of the most promising new start-ups from Sweden which works on the development of educational fintech products for young people and their supporters.

It will be held on the 2nd of November, 2021 between 9.30am and 11.30am (CET) on Zoom.
