Anwesha Chakraborty talks on cashlessnes as an anti-corruption and pro-transparency practice

BIT-ACT research fellow Anwesha Chakraborty has been invited to share her research on cashlessness and digital payments in India at an online event titled “Our Futures in a Cashless Society”.

Anwesha will be participating as a speaker alongside practitioners from the fintech, banking and financial sectors. She will be speaking on discursive practices and policymaking around the issue of cashless futures, especially with a focus on the framing of cashlessness as an anti-corruption and pro-transparency practice.

The event is organized by Gimitheapp, one of the most promising new start-ups from Sweden which works on the development of educational fintech products for young people and their supporters.
