Alice Mattoni, principal investigator of the BIT-ACT Project, delivers the seminar “How to Design and Develop Comparative Research on Digital Media Through Grounded Theory. Some Reflections from the BIT-ACT project experience" at the Digital Economy Lab of the University of Warsav. By addressing the glocal dimension of digital media from a methodological perspective, she presents the constructivist grounded theory approach and how it can be employed to conduct cross-country comparative research. Alice Mattoni provides practical indications on concrete research strategies to compare different types of digital media employment in various contexts worldwide, also considering challenges at the level of comparability across different situations.
