Call for Papers - ECPR Joint Sessions Workshops

25-28 May 2021 - Online

The workshop “Digital Media, Machine Learning, and Corruption: How the Newest Technological Development Facilitate and Curb Corruption Practices Across the World” will take place online at the next ECPR Joint Sessions 2021 from 25 to 28 May 2021. 

The workshop is convened by Alice Mattoni (University of Bologna) and Roxana Bratu (University of Sussex). It is endorsed by the ECPR Standing Group on (Anti)Corruption and Integrity.

One of the topics that the workshop aims to explore is the role that various types of digital media play in grassroots efforts against corruption and promote accountability, transparency, and integrity. 

The deadline for abstract applications is February the 8th, 2021. Abstracts should come with a title, 500 words outline, and 3-8 keywords. All applications must be submitted through the ECPR website, where you can also find more info on how to propose a paper and on the ECPR Joint Sessions.

The selected applicants will be required to submit their full paper by mid-May at the latest. Info on the workshop schedule will be provided in due time.
