All datasets produced within the ERC ABSTRACTION project are collected and managed through the Open Science Framework (OSF).
Where appropriate, each dataset is accompanied by metadata, documentation, README files, a project wiki, analysis scripts, licensing information, and any other materials necessary to ensure its transparency, reproducibility, and reusability, in accordance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).
In line with the European Commission's principle of "as open as possible, as closed as necessary," all materials are made openly available whenever possible. Temporary access restrictions may apply in order to protect the scientific publication process (for example, while associated manuscripts are under peer review or awaiting publication) or to comply with ethical or legal requirements.
As soon as possible following the publication of the corresponding scientific output, each dataset is assigned a permanent DOI to ensure its long-term discoverability, citability, and preservation. Each OSF repository is also linked to its associated scientific publication(s), promoting research transparency and facilitating the reproducibility of the project's findings.
