Kick-off Meeting
The DoTPOWER project officially starts with the kick-off meeting held in February 2025.

February 2025. The DoTPOWER project, funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU under the PRIN 2022 PNRR initiative, officially started.
DoTPOWER aims to promote innovation in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology, with a particular focus on the dot-by-dot deposition strategy. The project will develop advanced digital twin models of the WAAM process-to-product workflow, validated through experimental testing and interdisciplinary collaboration across structural design, manufacturing technologies, and metallurgy.
During the kick-off meeting, participants from Università di Bologna and Università di Firenze met to discuss the project’s main objectives, define the research plan, and coordinate the upcoming phases of activity.
