DoTPOWER is a research project that promotes the innovation of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology, with a focus on the "dot-by-dot" deposition strategy, aiming to improve the quality of both process and product and to foster its adoption in the construction sector.

The project aims to develop novel digital twin models of the entire process-to-product workflow, validated through several experimental methods.
This activity requires an interdisciplinary effort involving three main research areas: structural design, manufacturing technologies and metallurgy.

The overarching idea is to create a bridge between the physical and digital workflow by developing an integrated and circular approach, supporting the advancement of the dot-by-dot deposition strategy within WAAM technology.
