The Jean Monnet EVE project, coordinated by the LUMEN research unit at the University of Florence, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the EVE Fall School 2025—a fully online, 24-hour intensive programme designed to explore environmental issues through the exchange of European and African perspectives.
The school is aimed at Master’s and PhD students from Europe and Africa with a background in law, social sciences, or the humanities, and a demonstrated interest in environmental studies. The 20 selected participants will have the opportunity to deepen their interdisciplinary understanding, engage in interactive sessions with experts, and contribute to a shared learning platform.
The programme promotes an integrated approach to environmental challenges, combining legal, social science, and humanistic perspectives to develop critical and creative tools. Sessions are designed to foster authentic dialogue between European and African viewpoints, highlighting synergies between the two contexts. Thanks to its fully online format, participants will be able to access content in real time from anywhere in the world, without travel costs or visa concerns.
How to apply: Send your CV and a motivation letter (max 300 words) to info@eve-modules.eu by 30 July 2025.
