On May 8, 2025, at the Social Sciences Campus of the University of Florence (Room D4/2.41), the seminar “The Emerging Traces of an Ecological Approach to Seed Regulation in Africa” will take place. This is the second in a series of internal round tables organized by the UNIFI research unit within the framework of the European project LUMEN – Law of natUre and huMan Ecosystem approach: modelling a traNscultural eco-legal framework.
The round table will involve experts and scholars such as Veronica Federico, coordinator of the UNIFI research unit, along with Maria Stella Rognoni, Giulia Fontanella, Rachele Cecchi, Anna Pettini, and Silvia Sassi, members of the research unit, as well as Mariachiara Boldrini, Riccardo Arietti, Alessandro Francescangeli, and Alessandro Latterini. The discussion will focus on the social, legal, and economic implications of an ecological approach to seed regulation in Africa.
