Bologna has an efficient bus service which runs daily from 06:30 to 19:00 (or 23:00 depending on the route).
Tickets can be purchased on the bus and allow you to change buses or make a return journey within 75 minutes. You must validate your ticket by punching the machine on the bus. Each punch gives you 75 minutes of travel.
