The Recommendation Paper "Linking intrnationalisation with the Third Mission of Higher Education Institutions: a UNICORN approach that works" explains the benefits of the UNICORN model and it connects it to the European, national and institutional policies that it can serve. The Recommendations are addressed to HEIs’ and community policy makers. Concerning HE policy makers, in particular, this paper is addressed to Rectors and Vice-Rectors for Education, Internationalization, Third Mission and Research, as well as to Directors of Departments, Faculties, and Directors of Study Programmes. These university actors, actually, are those who more than any other in the university community could foster the institutionalisation and the upscale / exploitation of the UNICORN model. The Recommendations are also addressed to policy makers at different levels of government.
