Una.Resin

The 3-year project, Una.Resin, will be officially launching in spring of 2021, instigating and growing pilot initiatives to build a common Una Europa eco-system of research and innovation. Lead by the University of Edinburgh, the project was selected for €2 million of funding under the EU's Horizon 2020 Programme. The project mutually enhances Una Europa’s Erasmus+ pilot project, 1Europe, which is similarly taking steps to build a university eco-system by testing Joint Innovative formats for education and mobility.

After the 1Europe project, with which joint formats for education and mobility were developed and tested, Una.Resin completes the path towards the European University of the future. A number of pilot actions will test new forms of transnational and interdisciplinary collaboration, contributing to the construction of a common, open and inclusive ecosystem of research and innovation.
Around €2 million of funding over three years to:
- pool expertise, infrastructure and research resources, developing shared strategies, priorities and agendas, to tackle major societal challenges together;
- develop research that prioritises excellence, well-being, integration and diversity;
- develop systems that involve citizens and non-academic actors at all stages of the research and innovation life cycle, according to the principles of open science;
- to collaborate with other European university alliances in achieving these objectives.
