Summer School on Artificial Intelligence & Creativity

Una Europa Summer School in computer science, engineering, arts, design, law or humanities to expand knowledge of AI and its applications in creative domains.

This Una Europa Summer School brings together graduate and PhD students pursuing diplomas in computer science, engineering, arts, design, law or humanities who are eager to expand their knowledge of AI and its applications in creative domains. It is also intended for academics, and creative professionals, who want to incorporate AI tools and techniques into their work and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and creativity.

Relevant topics include: AI in Literature and Visual Art; AI-Driven Music Composition; AI in Cinema; Computational Creativity; Conditional generation; Copyright and plagiarism ; Deep fake detection; Digital restoration; Emotional AI; Generative Models; Interactive Chatbots; Large Language Models (LLMs); Liability and Accountability; Multi-modal creativity; Privacy, consumer protection; Procedural Content Generation; Representation Learning; Style Transfer.

HOW TO APPLY


UnaEuropa Participants: All participants from member universities of the UnaEuropa consortium are invited to contact the local representatives within the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Self-Steering Committee to express their interest and explore funding options.

Admissions will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.


Registrations are closed, as we have reached the maximum number of possible participants.

 

REGISTRATION FEES

  • BIP STUDENTS AND SPEAKERS*: none;
  • STUDENTS/RESEARCHES FROM UNIVERSITIES INVOLVED IN THE CONSORTIUM UnaEuropa : euro 100,00;
  • OTHERS: euro 250,00;

The fee includes tuition, course material, lunches, welcome and social dinner (the other dinners are not included), half day excursion, coffee breaks and transportation from/to Forlì train station on July 7/13. The departure time of the bus from Forlì train station will be communicated soon.

 *This activity has been organised under the BIP (Blended Intensive Intensive Program) format of the Erasmus+ programme. If your university has registered as a partner in this particular BIP programme, you will be exempted from paying any fee and you can also apply for financial support for the travel expenses.

ACCOMMODATION

You’ll be lodged at the Course Venue (or hotels nearby the course venue if necessary).
The rate for a single room occupancy in bed and breakfast is €49,00/night.
The rate for a double room occupancy in bed and breakfast is € 39,00/night/person. If you’d like to be lodge in a double room please specify in the field note of the registration form your roommate.
