Join the "Innovative Methods in Future Materials" summer school, an interdisciplinary program designed to equip participants with the latest methods in material preparation and characterization. Hosted by Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in collaboration with Una Europa universities, this program offers a unique opportunity to engage in international research, expand your knowledge, and build a strong academic network.

Who Can Apply?

This Summer School welcomes applications from:

• Master’s students and doctoral researchers in Materials Science or related fields across various disciplines, currently enrolled at an Una Europa partner university.
• Priority is given to doctoral researchers in their first two years.
• English proficiency: B2 level or higher is required to effectively engage with the programme.

What to Expect?

🔬 Academic Program:

• 21 hours of conferences & seminars
• 2-hour roundtable discussions with leading researchers
• 2-hour guided visits to UCM Research Support Centers
• 2-hour group poster presentations
• Additional online and independent work (13 hours)

🏛 Social & Cultural Activities:

• Cultural immersion and networking opportunities
• Exclusive visit to the Prado Museum
