Una Europa is organising the second Workshop of the Transnational Research Teams (TRTs) of the academic year 2022-2023. It will be held on 28th March in a hybrid format (face-to-face and online) at the University of Edinburgh.

This workshop is aimed at strengthening the Una Europa community of researchers with common or converging interests in cultural heritage. This workshop also represents a great opportunity for a training activity for the PhD students of the UNA HER DOC programme (1st and 2nd cohorts).

This workshops aims at analyzing the triangulation of the following concepts: heritage, periphery, social capital and local involvement/participation. The workshop will try to answer the following questions: what is the role of the local community in heritage production in the urban peripheries? What are the tools that can help the local community to appropriate the cultural
heritage of the peripheries?
